FERRY UPDATE:
Our originally scheduled launch date of June 4th, 2020 was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, Mayor Tenke remains committed to the start of commuter Ferry service between Glen Cove and Manhattan. This service will offer commuters a competitively priced, open air and stress-free option for their daily commute. We continue to work with Hornblower (our ferry operator) as we prepare to commence service safely and according to the Governor’s Guidelines. We look forward to this next exciting step in the transformation of Garvies Point and our City’s waterfront.

Timeline
Once the commuter ferry service commences, we anticipate daily departures from the Garvies Point Ferry Terminal to Manhattan weekdays in the mornings and evenings to provide commuting alternatives to and from Glen Cove. The City will release public announcements and branding once the schedule is finalized. We look forward to the new service and hope that everyone can get onboard!
